Got out with my detecting buddy Mike yesterday and decided to hunt the snow dump area behind one of the casinos in Lake Tahoe. This is the area where the casino's plows dump the snow they scraped from it's parking lot. As for myself (Pacer), I found 40 coins of no value other than face value. In addition, I found a Bell Dashboard Multi Function Cyclocomputer for a bike. I also found 2 e-cigarettes. One being a "Suorin Drop" and one that is called a "JUUL pod" Just goes to show you, never can tell what is being lost or where.

I heard that back during a long drought @ the late 1970s to early 1980s, when Lake Tahoe water levels got real low, that md'rs (driving all the way from Sacramento) were getting old silver off the beaches next to those state-line casinos. Including silver dollars. Since, go figure, those could still operate the slot machines as recently as the 1950s or whatever.
