Well not really disappointed. This is the scene two blocks from my house. Went over there an hour ago and in 30 seconds found the silver 1946 dime in the sidewalk cutout.

"X" marks the spot. Visions of wealth popped in my head! A few minutes later the 1946 penny shows up.

But from then on, nada. Just a few pieces of rusty stuff.

Workers only removed a few sidewalk squares and that is where i found the good stuff. The roadway provided the junk.

Is that pretty typical for this kind of thing?

thanks for looking!

Went back tonight, found 2/3rds of a chopped memorial penny and some rusty trash.
Amazing i stumbled on something good so fast yesterday.

Hot as Hades here, on Monday i will look for lost stuff at Lake Michigan.

Will venture into the lake too.

I found an amazingly rich site 2 years ago on Amelia Island Fl. The 50’x80’ lot had held a house that had burned down. A restaurant was then built there but recently razed for a miniature golf course. I found a horseshoe, 4 axe heads, numerous musket and Minie balls, Indian head and wheat pennies, Mercs, Barber dimes, 2 seated dimes and 2 seated half dimes (1853 & 1860)

2 weeks later I was driving past and saw 50’ of sidewalk was torn up and found another 2 ringer minie ball and my oldest coin at that time, a 1718 2 Reale

Does Honda still make the Ruckus, your highness?

It has a great look.

As a teen in the 60's i thought the step-thru Honda 50 scooter was rather feminine but the sport model with the cycle style gas tank was manly.

In Saigon in the early 70's i could not believe the number of Honda scooters mixed in with cars, trucks, etc.
