Yes. Believe it or not i haven't found very many of those. I dont know if they deteriorate or what.

Love the lead. In my skirmish areas they are sooooo hard to find. I'm at about 700 MB, I know both sides firing points, I've found exactly 4 whole caps and 2 pieces. They basically come close to splitting when fired, so to find the flakes and whole pieces is hard.

I love seeing the civil war finds. I am a huge history buff, unfortunately not much civil war history in NY.

I absolutely do believe it....I’ve been thinking and thinking and I don’t recall ever having dug one. The only ones I’ve personally seen come out of the ground were at an archaeology dig I do a little work on.

The Civil War bullets are neat historical finds. And the percussion cap is pretty cool, especially since it sounds like very few of those are recovered!

I found a couple water hunting years ago & maybe a couple more in the ground. My gox picked the last ine uo. I was digging low conductors at the time. It may be they fall into the foul range on our vlf detectors. The gpx doesnt have a vdi. Its all by sound.

nice! i love pulling civil war bullets! Lately I've been leaving Gettysburg alone and concentrating on old home sights that no longer have houses standing.
