One of my favorite actors, grow up in the 60's and you saw him everywhere.
An Oscar winner for Ed Wood, but had many other great roles through the years.
His career spanned from the 50's up to the present in both movies and television.
He even dated Marilyn Monroe for awhile so big points for that.
Was the first choice to play Spock on Star Trek but turned it down, Leonard Nimoy went on to a part in Mission Impossible after Landau left that show due to a contract dispute.
One of my favorites was his role on Space 1999...a weird little British show with a combination of both great and sometimes hokey special effects that lasted for two seasons in the mid 70's and still has many fans today.
A very entertaining and varied career, he will be missed.
