Sitting in the rain with Lincoln and Buffalo

I’m posting while sitting under a small building roof waiting for a heat wave thunderstorm to pass. I got here 2 hours ago and it was 95. Found a 1939 wheat and an undated Buff nickel and then the rain started. Lightning too or I’d be out there since I’m already soaked with sweat. Hoping for a few more swings before I leave for the day...got to take another short look after 45 minute downpour. Picked up another 1944 wheat penny and a few more clad and a bunch of rifle shells. Another good day. That's my second Buff Nickel from this spot.

Congrats on the Buff and wheats You did better than I did this afternoon, I got a serious case of swampass and only 4 memorials in the heat and rain to show for it.. Good luck. Mark

Haha, the infamous swampass! I looked like I peed my pants I was so drenched before the rain came down…like an incontinent loon swinging in the pines…got that Buff nickel tho, and that’s all that matters
