In my opinion it was all fake. Recall the Mason jar of coins, the inside of the lid was snow white, as if buried yesterday, or maybe a week before taping. Not to mention that these guys seems just a bit odd, running around with pistols and badges.

Just go to the history channel web site they will have it listed. And as far as buried yesterday you are probably right it was more then likely a reinactment of the finds.

I found it very interesting- and there were some great finds. I really liked the hunting aspect of it and the research was pretty cool. I just don't know if I buy some of the story though...
Plus it REALLY made my ancestors look bad- so I may be a bit biased lol.
