Biggest one I ever found to date...I think.
37mm, one mm shy of a silver dollar size.
Bronze, 15 grams in weight with a reeded edge.
This could be from the 70's, 80's or 90's but I can't pin it down, exactly.
Robert Schuller Ministries sold them along with many others over the years, it took a ton of money to keep that Crystal Cathedral up and running but eventually they declared bankruptcy in 2010 and sold the big building and all the grounds and land to the Catholic church in 2012.
Found with the Nox in an area of my local park I have scanned 100 times.
A few inches deep, maybe 3 or 4", a solid 29-30.
Don't know how or why I missed it over the years but today I was using the Gold2 setting and this target, and every other good target, came in sharp, distinct and super solid.
A very small, tight signal, almost missed it again and it might have been standing straight up vertical.
I figured the gold settings are for mineralized soil and I have mineralized soil so what the heck.
I liked hunting this way, I will probably do more of it in the future.
