Default Lead I.D and possible scabbard tip help

Hey all, was hoping someone might help with what I have here. Got a few bullets and some odd ball lead i am unsure of. Also what appears to be a scabbard tip of some sort. Has two lines wrapping the base, and what appears to be a small trace of wood still stuck in a mounting hole of some sort. I don't ever dig up any Civ items but would love to say i have. Found under the front porch of an 1850 home. Please post your thoughts. Much appreciated!

That certainly looks like the tip of a scabbard, but what type I'm hard pressed to say without a bit of research.

As to the lead, some measurements would help on the first as well as cleaning out the base. The second bullet you need some better pics. You fingers are in the way.

Looks like civil war bullets, they had a wide assortment of bullets used during the civil war, 3 ringers, 2 ringers, no rings, too many to list, just google civil war bullets, you can find pics of posters identifying the different ones

Your first bullet is post war wad cutter. Not sure about the second one without holding it but it looks like a modern pistol bullet. I'm not sure about the brass piece but it is not a scabbard tip.
