Today, I went to a park that I had been to several times. But this time worked it a bit differently and focused on some of the perimeter and the more heavily hunted areas.

Both the 1943 GW quarter and the 1946 Rosie were heavily oxidized from the ground, they were like a powdery white in discoloration. Both were found about 7-8" down.

The .925 double rings were about 6-7" down.

And as a nice treat, I found a JFK half.

Thanks again for reading my post!

Thank you!

Congrats on the excellent hunt with the Rosie, GW, 2 sterling rings and all the rest!

Thanks Captain Silver! Went detecting for my second day of the New Year and hit silver on both days. My stars must be inline this year...at least so far.

Very nice! I’m so jealous of you guys that can hunt right now!!!

Thanks WyoTom! I am surprised too that I am able to hunt at this time of the year. It has been a mild winter so far. But rain is expect tonight and tomorrow. So far the year has been of to a good start.

Thanks coin whisperer! And what feels good too about it...they were deep. As long as the park produces, I'll be back

Thanks Dew! Some days, I am lucky as to where my coil swings. Thanks again for your thoughtful comments.

Great hunt John, congrats on the silver. I see you been to a clad fest already. My clad goal for 19 is a modest 150. HH Mark

Thanks Mark! As of late my main diet has been hitting the Clad buffet line. But my New's Resolution is to change it up a bit. I looking to go with more lean protein silvers this year. So far, so good. But it's been hard to break-away from the Clad addiction but the good new is, with my new diet program, for my first two hunts in '19, I have found three silvers. And my goal for '19, is to find as much of everything that can fill-up my pouch with! lol. HH and lets find some gold!

Thank you!

Your starting the new year at full speed John. Congrats on the Silver's, the Sterling and another big clad haul. Trapper

Thanks Trapper! I been putting the coil to the soil. I need to scope out some new locations. Thanks again for your genuine support for the past and into the New Year!

Thank you!

Nice finds. Love that chalky white silver look. Pretty sweet clad haul as well

Thanks off the iron! Honestly, at first I was not certain if they were silver or not. But it turned out to being a nice surprise when I was able to investigate more on them. For the most part that whitish patina will not come off.
