Profind 35 cracked

Has anyone ever has a profind pinpointer Crack? I noticed it this past weekend. There is a Crack about 1-2 inches long on the black part of the tip. I haven't contacted minelab yet to see if it can be fixed.

Did you register it? My pro-find 20 cracked around the circular indentation of on/off button a week ago. It was free with the purchase of the Vanquish 540 pro pack that I owned and sold. I never registered it last year so I chalked it up as a lost and just bought myself a Garrett At pinpointer to replace it.

I bought it used from another member on here. I don't know if it was already registered. I've had it for a couple months and it was fine. I just noticed the crack the other day so far it hasn't hindered performance at all.
