Default Went out the other day..

Was driving around looking for a permission the other day. Saw a lady coming out of her house. I've previously stopped here several times with no response from knocking. Lady said OK. ! and that she'd be gone for a few hours.. Game on... Detected for about an hour and was finding older items-looks promising. I see a neighbor approaching.. There are no fences between the yards here.. He pretty much tells me I'm not welcome here. And the lady I talked to didn't want me here any more.. Even though she was still gone.. I listened -responded a little - and he finally left.. Back to work. Spent about 3.5 hours here.. Didn't find anything mind blowing but found a great variety of items.. Had fun even after the neighbor encounter.. Favorite finds are the harmonica side piece and the 1/2 of a sash buckle haven't found one of these in a while. Oldest coin is the 1917 mercury. I found what looks like a play money coin marked 50. But never found one that looks like this one. Thanks for looking and good luck to all.. Tony AZ..

Nice variety of older items, Tony. Surprised you didn't bag more silver than you did. Always like finding old marbles too.

You should have told him - " She also told me I could hunt your yard too" ! Really put that guy's brain in a blender...

Nice variety of finds, never know what you will find til you dig it. I hate to be confronted by people, I always respond with kindness but stand my ground if I know I have a right to hunt a property. Sounds like you handled the situation well.
