Pretty excited for him.. First silver and coin spill..

He even let me sneak in and find one.

seated spills are hard to find ! Tell him I'll trade him a wheatie spill I found last week . eh ? eh ? :p

Man great finds! That's like a week's wages back then, right? Someone wasn't happy losing that kind of loot in 1850's America! I wonder if the misses gave him any kind of grief for losing his whole paycheck?!

haha yeah its going to be hard to top that!

Cant wait to get back out to that spot!

And to be honest it was in the most unrealistic place you would think you would find old coins. Only reason we were in the area is the homeowner asked us to find a pocket knife he lost.

WOW! Heck of a great way to start off in the silver! Now he's going to be bored digging single silver Rosies and Mercs.

haha, good point. There was a fellow in our area, who's first introduction to md'ing was that his buddies took him to a pristine early virgin fort site. His first few coins were early seateds. Later, upon finding *only* a barber half, he was actually disappointed ! Sheesk, as you know, most md'rs don't belittle a barber half, eh ? haha
