Welcome from Connecticut, via winter in SoCal, hey Greysailor what sort of boat have you? I’ve got a 1977 Bristol 29.9 Hull # 17,
The Nox 800 is a good machine by all accounts, you might consider the new Nokta legend when it actually hits retail, that should be soon ish, happy hunting
Got two - a 1976 Columbia T-26 Hull# 075 and a Hobie 16 (from the middle 80's I think). I spent two years on a ground up restoration on the columbia, new led lighting, motor, wood work, cushions, paint inside and out, restored sails, you name it. Then someone gave me an old Hobie - it had some spongy hull tops I had to fill but was in better shape than my now discarded old Prindle 16 (still - I miss the Prindle - a great boat). I sail the Chesapeake occasionally. Last time was two years ago and I got a Catalina 355 - brand new. Awesome boat. https://www.catalinayachts.com/cruiser-series/catalina-355/
