I am new to the hobby, and located in Central Michigan, LP or mitten for you non Michiganders.

I have a tuned up oldie by goodie, to start off with, a Whites DFX.

If there are any MDs looking for someone to hunt with in my area, please send me an email.

Also, any MDs that have used the DFX a lot, any advice would be appreciated.

I would like to start off with hunting for coins and silver/gold jewelry.

I picked up the book "Digging Deeper with the DFX" by Jeff Foster, and am currently reading that, and watching White Instruction videos explaining how to use the DFX.

Best thing you can do is learn your machine. I’m just beginning to feel comfortable after over25 hours. Again best of luck.
