Default Eagle button ? maybe yes maybe no

I found this button not to far from where I found my 1867 2 cent piece. I don't know to much about buttons.I know what I want it to be, so any info would be appreciated.

Yes. "I" = Infantry. Love to find those. Esp. with gold gilt color still on them.
