Well, I looked at the thread with all the nice scoops listed out, but can't justify buying one when I just got into the hobby last week. So, I decided to put a handle on the scoop that came with my detector!
I picked up a $9 handle from the local warehouse store, a stainless bolt, some nylock nuts, a galvanized brace, and 4 hose clamps.
For $17 after tax and 15 mins of work, I think I've got a decent design to go test out on the beach today. Wish me luck!
