Well after a very long winter here, the snow is mostly gone and I'm able to dig in the semi-frozen ground. My girlfriend and I went out for a few hours last night and hit some curb strips in an older part of town and we both did pretty good. She found a bucket list item for me, a 1941 dog tax! I was pretty jealous but that went away when I found a nice 1943 merc :D. I also found 3 wheats, a Palmolive Cream tin lid, some brass piece that looks like an old police badge but no markings on it at all and an old rifle shell with R 85 F 5 on the headstamp which if I understand correctly means it was made in May of 1885? And of course we both got some clad. Was sure nice to be out digging again!

Glad the first hunt of the year was a success. Congrats to you both on some super finds. It's nice to dig Silver the first time out. Trapper
