...and found it in my own danged front yard.
To ice the cake...check that date.
Its rough but I'll take it any day!

Dont have a computer and dont know the max file size for image uploads. Guessing the forum cant take images directly from my smartphone.
Anyway, it was 8" deep, sandy soil...
And it's a 1900!
Whites MXT Pro with an Eclipse DD coil. Surprised I hit it that deep.

Home was built in 1900...
Have found several wheaties and odd relics (ie: A dog rabies tag from 1949 and a ladies 'toilet box' lid)
I work alot and have mabey 50 hours total on my MXT.
Just need to learn how to find those nickles!

Nice IHP. I got lucky and found an 1883 IHP in the first month or so of detecting, I found it before I ever even found a wheatie. Finding mine was sheer luck though, I didn't know much about detecting when I popped it out of the ground.
