Hello metal detecting forum Members,

Happy to have found this site and look forward to joining in when possible.

I have not purchased a machine yet but been researching and have borrowed a Whites Classic SL, looks like an older unit.

This hobby seems like something I could get into. A challenge with possible rewards. Won't hurt to get outside more either.

Thanks guys. Just spent a half hour in my yard digging alum, nails, peg board hook, rusty utility knife blade and the first monetary find a penny from 1975. Obviously nothing but learned- get a hand shovel, gloves and a nail apron.
