Been trying to research this but it leads to a lot of confusion on my part. I'm sure it's mostly me not understanding the lingo. I already have a set of bluetooth earbuds and was wondering if there is a way to use them while metal detecting as I find the headphones REALLY uncomfortable. (I have big ears haha) Can someone tell me what I can use or should purchase that is compatible with the ACE 400?? Thanks in advance!

You need a Bluetooth transmitter, a cord with 1/8 inch (3.5mm) male on both ends (probably comes with the transmitter), and an adapter to switch from that 1/8 male to 1/4 inch male into the detector.

Watch this video. He's using an ACE 400

Thanks for the reply! Just ordered everything I need. Appreciate it!

One thing to keep in mind is the latency with bluetooth. the signal will get to the headphones a fraction of a second later than when the detector sends it (half second? Quarter second? It depends on the transmitter and headset) so that will impact pinpointing somewhat.
