I went door knocking today and got the usual couple no answers and then I saw a amazing old Victorian at the end of a road that sits empty. I talked a neighbor about the property and she gave me the caretakers number so hopefully I can secure that permission. I ended up getting a yes a old 1930’s gas station and the house that sits beside it. A guy I know detected it with his etrac about 3 years ago and the guy accidentally left his etrac propped up against the old gas station and left. The next day he realized it and went back and never found it! I hunted the property for 4 hours and ended up finding 8 Vic coppers, a smooth 1918 merc, a 1945 merc, a aluminum play money coin and the find of the day was a old aluminum good for 5 cents in trade token. Ty for looking and HH!

Aluminum play money. I've found a few of those. I propped up my eTrac against the passenger side of my jeep one time and drove away. I drove 30 min home before I realized my detector was missing. It was the longest 30 min of my life driving back knowing it was laying in the middle of a field right in town. I got lucky and it was still there when I got back.

Congrats on the nice hunt CW!! That gas station is one like I have in my dreams!!! I want to run up on one like that to beep around.
