1798 France coin (Bronze)

How should I go about trying to clean this coin to get a little better detail out of it? The coin does not seem to be a very valuable coin and not much detail is available as it is so I not too worried about doing some damage to it.

Doesn't look like there's much to clean, more a case of being worn with a little corrosion. In most cases an attempt at cleaning makes it worse.

You are correct as long as the diameter is a match. There's also a 5 Centimes, and 10 Centimes with that bust. The BB is the mint mark for Strasbourg.

if you really wanted to electrolysis or olive oil ... i would have to handle toe coin to even see if i would do it but i probably wouldnt.
