We hit 5 large flea market/antique stores on Saturday. KT saw an incredible amount of peon's trash which some people consider treasures and others consider junk! But in the second place we visited, KT came across a glass case with a shelf that was all silver coins. Well, of course you know, KT spent some time there looking at everything on that shelf. The dealer had pretty reasonable prices on all his 90% silver coins, being on about 10 % over the silver melt value on most coins. But something caught KT's eye....a small plastic bag with some half dollars in it. KT strained to see the label and the price....it read 20 40% Ag Ken halves...price $25.00. KT did a double take and read it again! KT remembered recently scanning this forums for sale coins section where someone had a roll of the same coins for sale for $50 and they had soon sold. So KT purchased that bag, and when we arrived back at the Castle, KT went to the silver coin melt value calculator and found the silver value to be $48.01! So He rejoiced and !! Nice to find a quick bargain like that!
KT plans to visit the fleamarket again in another few weeks and see if the proprietor had replaced the bag with another one of the same price!
Here is the picture of the goodies!
