1853 half dime

Found this sweet half dime today and was just wondering what type of value it holds besides almost being priceless to me. After scanning this i can really see all the nicks and dings but i dont believe any are from me. The huge scratch on the back was there when i dug it. Its in rough shape i think but would still like to know what some one would pay for it. Thanks and GL HH

Awesome find!

Well, it would grade environmentally damaged clearly due to the scratching, but the 1853 O is the lowest mintage of 1853 with only 2.2 million.

That, being in around G04 to VG08 - despite damage - could probably net you at least $10-$15. Still an Awesome find!!

Thanks for the quick response P.H. and ye i think its awesome aswell. 10-15 bucks for a half of a dime sounds like a win to me,but no chance ill ever sell it. The damn thing rang up under the zinc icon and ill prolly never find antoher one lol. Again thanks and HH.
