My 8 year old and myself had the day off yesterday so she decided she wanted to go metal detecting with me.
We went down to the old neighborhood in town where I was getting all the Indianheads last year.
I wanted to hit the yard at an old house owned by the city. I have detected this place probably 20 times but I wanted to see if anything remained.

The yard was pretty much empty but I did find a one-direction high tone out in the curb strip. Dug probably 8" down and ended up pulling an old 1931 International Harvester token.....not bad! They should have made it out of silver though.

Sweet token! Always fun to find those once in a while. Even more fun researching them.

Awesome token and great decision to go ahead and dig the iffy, Tundra! But now you've got me worried about all those one way high tones I've walked away from, writing them off as cans!

Real nice, I like finding old tokens too. Seems like that spot isn't hunted out yet might be some more goodies there.
