Old machine part or?

Found this heavy iron object in the yard of a 1924 house a couple of inches down. The center hole goes all the way through but it doesn't appear to be threaded or splined. The holes around the perimeter go deep but not all the way through. It's about 2 inches in diameter and more than a half inch thick. Anyone know?

A pulley of some sort perhaps? The center part looks like a bearing.

Hole for shaft looks to be keyed, so I'm guessing 1/2 of some sort of motor/pump coupler.

I think you're right that the center part rotated (a long time ago) on a bearing.

Could be an idler pulley from a vehicle, since it's not grooved for a belt.

To me it kinda looks like an old roller skate wheel ... at least that's what it reminds me of.

We have an exact match! I searched for "antique roller skates" after you posted and found this photo. Both the front and back of the wheels are identical to the piece I found. These skates must have been HEAVY. Thanks for the ID help!
