So I walked diagonal across the field far away from where the 1880's house once stood.

Found 1897 Barber dime, so I decided to spiral outward, about 20ft away this huge crotal (sleigh) bell..#10 a whopping 2 3/8" diameter.

This field has yielded a couple 2-cent coins, numerous Indians a few crotal bells, round balls, buttons etc.

Dang! You're still pulling out great stuff. Congrats!
Thanks, thats the same field where you found that old postal button. I would've been happy finding one of those, but silver and bells works too!

Yeah!! I love the bell!
Thanks Sue, I love bells too. I have enough to mount on my backdoor,

Nice!! I wonder if you have found a gold eagle if you had kept going straight... hmmm. Lol
Dont say that!! :foottap:

That's a monster. Extremely rare to find one whole, let alone one that big. WTG !!!!

That dime looks new.

I was hunting with a friend of mine last year. An area of town that the city bought out many houses because of flooding. While hunting, my friend ended up with 5 of them bells. I got the most silver.
I still like them bells... KEN:D
