I managed to make it out today for a couple hours and found about $0.80 in clad. While I was going about my Merry way I had a good signal that I decided to dig that wasn't trash. First I dug a rifle shell and still had a signal in the hole. When I pulled out the other piece I thought it may have been tweezers and realize that there was a slide bead on the tweezer part and the other end looked like the tip of a bullet. I placed what looked like a bullet tip on the casing and it was a match. That's when I realized that the sliding ring would hold something tight in the tweezer part and put two and two together. I still think it's a cool find.
As far as the Silver pocket spill goes the signal was very jumpy all over the place but I still could pick out a good signal every now and then and decided out of curiosity to dig it. The first thing I pulled out was pull tab still having a signal in the hole I came across a 1941 nickel. Which was followed by a 1926 wheat penny a 1941 Mercury dime in a 1952- D Rosie. Still having more signals I came across pieces of a rusty pocket knife.
Sometimes it pays to dig the iffy signals. This makes three Silver's in the last two hunts. Happy Happy Happy!
