I found what appears to be a copper button. The design on the face is very hard to make out so I applied a bit of acid free petroleum jelly to help bring out some of the details.
It appears to have two large outspread wings going upward. The center of the button is hard to make out. One person sees two faces, another swears there are Oriental emblems or characters in a vertical line.
It may be either an eagle or a phoenix.
Or something else.
I’m showing it with various angles and filters in the hopes that it helps to see it.
If anybody can help solve this mystery, please let me know.
