I made this years ago out of a 1980's solid SS car antenna and a control knob. They threaded together perfect. Had a copper tip but needed to shorten it and haven't got around to putting it back on yet. Fits in the diggers handle which i keep in a tool loop. Digger is a dalyn enterprises and probe is about 11' long, works great in all but the hardest ground.

I have made numerous probes over the years and have given several to fellow forum members. When I first joined I posted a how to do project. Look up 'Easy coin probe'. They are made using brass brazing rod so they aren't as likely to scratch coins.

Thanks ZEEMANG. Those look nice Siversmith45! I have brazing rod but it's too thin, might have to get thicker stuff and try that. On mine it had a copper end but i decided to cut it down so will add a tip again. Used a piece of solid copper wire about 5/16" long and drilled a tight hole then roughed up the probe tip and put it in a vice. A little epoxy on then drove the tip on and crimped it.
