I have been hitting a low area on a small beach recently, apart from a few coins & sinkers and one tarnished silver ring finds were scarce.

I just had a feeling that there had to be more there,so off I went again this afternoon for another grid.

It paid off today with a small 9ct Dress Ring & 925 Silver .. both found further out on the low tide.

:dingding: Congrats on another yellow! I just want to find half of the amount of golds this year that you'll find.

Pretty paltry finds there Meggie Old Chap! Not like your usual! Whats up? Winter coming in the lower Hemisphere?:laughing: Just tugginyerpud! You got your years worth of finds in already!

Congrats, how did you get the silver so clean?

I just use Bicarbonate of Soda.I make a damp paste with it and rub it around the ring with my thumb & forfinger .. that will start the cleaning process.
Then I use the same method but use aluminium foil (shiny side up) this starts the silver to appear. Some times I will need to buff them with my Dremel using Jewelers Rouge.
I finally finish off with a silver polishing cloth.
