Default Rifle Cartridge Headstamp TW53

Good afternoon everyone,

I am sure this is not an old find, but I am still interested in any information folks can provide about these cartridges I found. The headstamp shows TW53.

Thanks for any information. Just curious.

Rob

The top cartridge appears to be a blank.

I believe they are all blanks (military) training.

Thank you for all of the help identifying these.

For my own education:
What do the "53" on the headstamp indicate?
How can you determine if the cartridges contained blank or live rounds?

Thanks again for the help.
Rob

53 is the year of manufacture. Blanks can be identified by the crimped ends on the lower two and the top one had a fiber disc holding the power in where you see the line.
