Default Equinox Finds 18K Heavy Gold!

Did I forget to mention Electroplate in the title? Oh well.

Got a 19 - 20 signal and dug this critter up. it looked a lot better until I took a Brillo pad to it to take some tarnish off. LOL I succeed in taking the gold off. I should have known that was going to happen.

I found that last time I was out but dropped it in my truck and couldn't find it. Found it today in a small compartment.

I thought some folks might get a laugh. I did when Kevin said it said 18K inside. I knew it was too light for that. It actually says 18KHGE.

So not my first gold of the year.

I hate them also. i need glasses and when I found it I thought it was too light for gold. All Kevin could read was 18K. I smelled a rat though because of the brown spots and the weight. The loop at the truck confirmed it. Then I dropped it and forgot it. Nothing but snow today so I went out and found it.

I was excited to see that one, then the bad news. Too bad on the HGE but funny story.

Jeepers, Jack! My jubilant jewelry jumpstart was jerked ajar, and joylessly jettisoned by your jive juvenile joke about some junk jetsam. Jellybeans!

Actually it is a real post. I actually found it in the camp I am hunting last week.
My posts are honest. I just had to have fun with the title.
