Default Copper locket?

New here. Found this in the middle of my 10 acres in Canterbury, NH. Iím thinking itís a locket. Just wondering if anyone has any idea on the age, etc. Appears to be copper, which is quite thin and the detail is pretty amazing. Looks like there is a flower near the middle of the hinge on each.

Thank you! That makes way more sense! Now I see why it looks like their are lead solder spots on the back.
