What's the rule of thumb when selling silver coins on the forum?

I've went through and decided to keep what I like but have $7.00 face valu of silver I'm considering selling

Contains 2 walkers, a couple barber dimes, few Washington's most are Rosie's and mercs..

Just curious..

Thanks

Check silver value, then offer for 95% of that value because that is all you would get if you had them melted down. Offer to split postage with buyer.

I could never get anyone to pay 95% to melt coins. They did pay that for gold though.

The first rule of thumb would be to post a picture of whatever it is that you're selling. Then set a price according to the current market.
