Talking See you on the cartoon channel !

Special Guest Appearance by KingTotsalot as "King Camo" !

(KT said it was okay to post here what I posted on one of his threads, thanks KT !)

.......with all the things KT was painting camouflage it was easy to get the impression that everything he touched turned into CAMO

I found an old cartoon clip online about the fairy tale of King Midas where everything he touched turned to gold and got the idea of editing it into "King Camo" where everything KT touches turns into CAMO

Here is KT's thread (and his reply afterwards) where it was originally posted: http://metaldetectingforum.com/showt...97#post3277397

Talking Hey, detecting is still good exercise even when you don't dig great finds !

Is this how Mud would react right after digging a gold coin ?

Talking Looks like even as a kid Dave was focused on wanting coins !

Looks like as a kid Dave was upset he was given his weekly allowance in paper bills instead of coins !

(oops, I forgot when I made it that paper bills technically are not money )

Way back in ancient history when i was around your age, (70 years old now ) my grand father use to give all the grand kids Morgan and Peace dollars for Christmas. People back then used to occasionally turn them in to the bank back then. He would have the bank tellers save some for him and pick them up next time he was in. ( back then in small towns the bank tellers actually knew your name and you did your transactions in a bank pass book. This was long before computers and on line transactions. )

Don't even recall getting a allowance as a kid , my parents had 4 kids and mom stayed home to take care of the kids. We lived on a teachers salary for a lot of years . But if you went out with your wagon or bike and collected soda bottles you could cash in the deposit money at the 5 and dime store (5 cent and 10 cent) you could get a candy bar for a nickel .
