Folks,
I dug this ring this past Saturday at a house built @1780. The ring was down maybe 6 inches at the base of a large bush. Appears to be bronze or brass. Small as if to fit a child. I have no idea if this is an early Cracker Jack prize, or something older. Based upon the concretion of dirt around the top symbols, looks to have been in the ground awhile. I can't seem to place the symbols. There are dragons on either side of the band, and 6 odd symbols on top. The symbols are hard to see, but look like two vertical linked X's above an oil lamp, then a four square box above a sideways "D", then what looks like an Arabic number "1" above a sideways Arabic number "1". Oriental? Viking? Arabic? a mix? Confused yet? I just don't know. Hoping someone here can shed some light. You all are the best.

Your ring is a Oriental Happiness ring.
Not that old.
Along the lines of as trinket ring.

Here's a similar one....
