This afternoon I spent some time at an old park I have hunted A LOT. Was able to get over 2 silver dimes. One a really good looking oldie. 1917-D.

Went much slower today and gridded out the area that I've found the most silver from in the past. Both these dimes hit good only one direction. Sometimes you get lucky.

Thanks for looking.

Good finds! How about that token?

Thanks! It's an Aluminum Utah State Tax token. 1 Mil.
1930s to 40s. It was worth 1/1000th of a dollar to pay fractional tax. I find a lot of them. For some reason, they sound too good, always fool me.

Very cool, I'd take them all day. My only token is chuck e cheese šŸ¤£

I like the Chuck E Cheese ones! These tax tokens are a dime a dozen. (Actually, they are 1.2 cents a dozen )

Nice going on those two nice Mercs ! Every 1917 Merc I have ever found has been well worn , a nice one like that is not an easy find ( at least not for me ) . Congrats !

Congrats on the Mercs and making an old spot cough up a couple more SW. That 17 is pretty sweet. I got a nice 23 last month. A Merc is second only to a Walker in beauty imo. Boy you sure have cleaned up on those tax tokens. Glad to see you are still able to get out. Weather starting to break a little here and nun too soon. Good luck, Mark

I experience this alot with the Equionox. Signals are not as sharp as what one would think with a silver coin. I dug a seated dime that was a zinc penny signal, like a 21-23 and very sketchy. I can only imagine how much is being missed.
