Hello Everyone!
I found these wings at a closed golf course this weekend.
They are marked sterling and have four letters in a semi-circle above the sterling mark that i cannot make out.
From my research it appears to be be post WW2.
Air force apposed to be army air corps.
There has to be an expert on this site that can identify these wings.
Thanks for your help.

Can you please post a close-up of the hallmark?

Thank you.

Ah, perfect Tom.

Likely wings made by AMICO.

I can’t tell from the pics if they were pin-back or clutch-back, which would help date them.

Beautiful wings.

I cant see it.
"A M C O" is the best i can make out.

I'm pretty sure : Yes. Because, if I'm not mistaken, WWII was the last time they made military award metals out of silver. By the Vietnam era, the Govt. was so cheap , that the awards were in Brass/copper. Doh!

Maybe Korean era was still done in silver medals ?
