On Saturday and Sunday I hunted a camp from the 60s. I found around $10 in clad, a 1951 quarter, 9 rings in total, 5 silver rings, and one 10k gold Mason’s ring.
The Mason ring has a code scratched inside. They used codes to get into meetings. Unfortunately the Mason ring has a piece taken out of it, but I still have it and it shouldn’t cost that much to fix, I hope it wasn’t me who broke it…
I also found a Tootsie toy car, in pretty rough shape.
I had a fun weekend!

Maybe the coins weren't too terribly old, but I wouldn't argue with gold and silver rings !

Nothing wrong with that hunt. That clad is what I find in a month. Silver is always good and then a gold ring, nice.

Great haul on an apparent virgin site! 60s camp? An old public campground, or a place where the hipsters hung out?
