Taking it slow trying to learn the Simplex - my house was built in 1933 so was curious what I may have missed with my Tracker IV. The 1941 quarter is the first Silver I have ever dug! The nickel is hard to read but it's 1961. At first I thought the tube was can slaw but after cleaning a little it showed to be a toothpaste-like metal tube all rolled up. I carefully unrolled it and see it is a grooming product called "Prep" made by Mark Allen & Co. of Detroit.

This is funny because I have a Tracker as well and have hunted my back yard numerous times. I just ordered a Simplex too and the first test will be combing the back yard yet again.

Congrats on the GW. My first silver was also a GW quarter. Sometimes those items you find that you think are trash, turn out to be someting really cool on closer inspection. Neat finds!
