Well, ol' KingTotsalot ran the Royal Chariot by the Bank after lunch today and picked up His Assigned 5 boxes of halves. Always hoping there will be some goodies, silver and otherwise, to be captured for KT's Treasure Chest!
And indeed today there were both types! Below is and accounting of the Royal CRH:
Box 1 - 1 40% Ag Ken
Box 2 - 2 40% Ag Kens
Box 3 - 1 40% Ag Ken, 1 Ken Proof
Box 4 - 1 40% Ag Ken
Box 5 - no silver, but a mint error Ken...appears to be plastic trash strike through on the obverse side...2 of them!
Total - 5 40% Ag Kens, 1 Ken Proof, 1 Ken strike through error.
Surprisingly, after all the 2019 NIFCs last week, not one this week....KT is still waiting to get that last one to fill that roll!
The first pic shows the 5 40% Ag Kens, 67 and 68 Kens. The second picture shows the Proof on the right and the strike through on the left of the image. Then follows 2 images through KT's usb LED microscope, one of each of the plastic strike throughs...the largest goes from the L in Liberty and incorporates a portion of Ken's chin and up into his nose. The second plastic trash strike through is just above the Y in Liberty and is a small irregular field..it does not show well on the whole coin image but is obviously there when examining the coin. KT likes mint errors and this is an interesting one!
