Hello everyone,
I was hoping someone could tell me if there is a compatible coil for my detector or even if its worth it. I believe to coil is bad as it makes a lot of noise. Even hitting blades of grass causes it to go off. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply Valley Hunter. I found one for $150, says it works for a White's MXT. Does that cover the MXT300?

MXT has White letters
MXT 300 has gold letters the 300 means it came with the 300 mm (12") coil

Yes the 6 x 8 will bring the detector to life $150 seems high ..
Another option is the 9,5" CC or 10" DD coil that is stock for the MXT

The "MXT300" on my unit is white letters. the "White's" and "mm" are in gold letters.

Is this the one I need? What frequency do I need? Thanks again for your help.

"I believe to coil is bad"
Check to see if it has a coil cover dirt / sand could cause the issue
