This past weekend I found a large foreign coin. It has been drilled, and appears to have been in a fire.
Its about 1/8" larger than a half dollar, is ~1.3" or 33 - 34 mm.
It has a reeded / milled edge. Is slightly thinner than the half dollar.
Silver
Weighs ~ 11.3g or .4oz.
about the only detail I can make out is a dotted ring about 1/4" smaller than the coin diameter, only on the one side.

Any info would be helpful.
Thanks!

Here are some better pictures.
Maybe a dragon in the dotted circle on the LH side?

I would guess it is a silver medallion rather than a coin:?:

It has a reeded edge. Usually only done to coins so you could tell if someone had removed material from the edge of the coin decreasing its value.

Yep..looks like some type of chinese dragon dollar. Google a bit and you will see lots of them. But i think finding exact match is kinda hopeless effort. Cool find anyways :)
