WWI or WWII Button?

[One More Hole]

I recovered this button which is in pretty awesome condition for being in the ground for lord knows how long. It is a standard sized coat button with the back mark " Pettibone Bros MFG CO Cinn O". I figured it would be easy to identify, but I cannot find a lot of info on their Eagle buttons.
Any help is appreciated!

Never thought I'd detect one of these. It is brass, approx. 1" dia., appears to be 3 pc construction. Front is spread eagle w/E Pluribus Unum banner above and a wreath w/13 stars on top. Field has horiz. lines. - Reverse is stamped "Scovill Mf'g Co." upper and "Waterbury" lower.

I'm confident it is US Army uniform button, but do not know era (WWI, WWII, etc.) or perhaps older...but it is in relatively good condition w/little wear. Also, do not know whether it is jacket or cuff button, enlisted or officer, etc.

Great Seal button. Painted black. WWI. Buttons were black or gilt from 1910-1917, black only from 1917-1923 and gilt thereafter.
