A fellow MDer I know, who collects coins, cleans everything. He told me to use Wright's Silver Cream. So one day, I was going to clean a couple Mercs I dug up, and I found Wright's Copper cream under the sink. It worked great! I just wondered if anyone uses anything like that. The copper cream is for copper pots and pans, in the household department. I imagine silver cream would be there too.

Absolutely not, any kind of cleaner like this drastically reduces the value of your silver coins. These silver and copper cleaners remove the original surface of the coin. They are best left alone, other than a gentle washing with water and a mild detergent, then pat dry.
