Thanks for the concern, fellow hunters.
A while back, it hit me that I may have a head full of detecting knowledge from my time detecting, but it is probably outdated, and I'm not keeping up with what's new because I can't get out much. I decided to take a break and rethink my support.
Some 20 years ago, I was on top of all the newest stuff. Today, while I've used the best, I lack the knowledge to express my experience with the new tech detectors out today. In other words, I should keep my mouth shut LOL. I do so enjoy seeing all the goodies everyone finds, and I figure that is my food for now.
My health is so so. I go on the 19th to see what can be done with the extra-large growth in my intestines. The problem is when it swells, which is almost always; my abdomen swells, and that pushes on my lungs and causes my COPD to make breathing hard. Such is getting old. I can't believe I'll be 70 this year. I know some of you are over 70, but I was told by my pulmonologist some years back, I'd probably not see 68, much less 69.
So I just needed a fresh look at my lifelong hobby, and took a break. Now I'm back to loving all these great finds. It brings back memories.
I will help when I can, but I believe it is time to leave the new tech to the ones who use it aND UNDERSTAND IT BETTER THAN i.
