I've been using rubber boots for my beach hunts, but after taking a pounding during these last storms here is NorCal, I think I'm going to splurge on some waders. I've been doing some research on them, and some of the brands like Patagonia,, Sitka and Simms etc, seem a bit too high priced for my needs. Does anyone out there use waders that are of good quality, puncture resistant, but around $200-$250? Thanks for your advice!

I saw Pyriteboy had a really nice setup when I hunted with him. Forgot the name. Maybe PM him.

I have a pair of Simms for 10 years still going strong... I bought them for trout fishing, but I found finding gold made me happier

Buy a tube of aquaseal for those days they leak and there is some massive erosion going on.. Most I had leaked after 2 to 3 years, and in the crouch. Easy fix with aquaseal and some old wader (cut out) patches. I got the cheap waders.. 90 to 120 dollars. That was 2008 to 2014, 2015 my hunting changed and required something different.

I had Froggs Toggs that lasted a few years without leaking, then i left them in the hot summer sun for a month and the seams got all cracked and crusty. Simms seem to be the highest rated. I need to order a new pair also...
