Found a waist belt plate whereby the lead backing is flaking off badly. Already about half of it was gone when dug out of the field. Any advice on techniques to stabilize the lead that is flaking much appreciated. Only thing remember hearing is a diluted form of white glue brushed over it or something polyurethane. Thanks.
