Earlier this week, I added the Jethro Program that is popular with some in the UK. It's different, I'll say that. I've been rechecking searched areas to see if it helps. I have found stuff. Nothing great though. After my first local hunt today, I headed out to a local park. It abuts a Civil War Park (NOT a National Battlefield! Those are scary) My plan was to search the woods. I really hope to find early American or Colonial in that park. Just haven't yet.

Except for one cent, the money came from my first site today.

Second hunt, I thought it was far enough away from the Battlefield. I guess not. Three musket balls. A three ringer Minié ball, and a pistol bullet. All Civil War and all undoubtedly from the Battle of Balls Bluff.

The yellow thing is a racing pigeon band. From what I can tell, it's from 1999. And a copper/bronze thing marked 2785.

Last pic is all my Civil War stuff. Bullets and musket balls. Buttons. Pack rings, and artillery shell fragments. Most comes from the Battle of Balls Bluff, some from around town, bottom right is from the First Battle of Winchester. Above that, Berryville, and above that Castleman's Ferry Fight.
